| CONNECTICUT STATE FIRE SAFETY CODE Sec. 20: Section 29-292-9d of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies is amended as follows: Chapter Twenty-nine, Section 29-2.4.1, of the Connecticut State Fire Safety Code is amended to read: (Amd) 29-2.4.1 Every building or structure used for storage and every section thereof considered separately shall have at least two separate means of egress as remotely located from each other as practicable. Exception No. 1: A single means of egress shall be allowed in low or ordinary hazard storage occupancies provided that the following limits are not exceeded:
Exception No. 2: [Existing occupancies.] In existing low hazard storage occupancies, a single means of egress shall be permitted from any story or section. Exception No. 3: In existing ordinary hazard storage occupancies, a single means of egress shall be permitted from any story or section, provided that the exit MAY be reached within the distance as allowed as common path of travel.
