CONNECTICUT STATE FIRE SAFETY CODE

Sec. 11: Section 29-292-9d of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies is amended as follows:

(NEW) Chapter Twenty of the Connecticut State Fire Safety Code is amended by adding the following:

(Add) 20-3.5.4 Portable fire extinguishers shall be required only in all kitchens of bed and breakfasts. These portable fire extinguishers shall be installed and maintained in accordance with Section 7-7.4.1.

Exception: Where the range top is protected by a listed residential range top extinguisher unit.
