CONNECTICUT STATE FIRE SAFETY CODE

Sec. 9: Section 29-292-9d of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies is amended as follows:

(NEW) Chapter Twenty of the Connecticut State Fire Safety Code is amended by adding the following:

(Add) 20-2.9 Illumination. The primary means of escape within bed and breakfasts shall be provided with illumination in accordance with Section 5-8.

Exception: Where illumination is provided upon activation of the fire alarm system or loss of power. The foot-candle values of illumination provided shall be as required by Section 5-9.2.1.
